Teacher of PE Theory

We are working on behalf of a city centre Liverpool Academy who require a Teacher of PE to deliver 80% GCSE Theory in addition to Health and Social Theory and Sports Education Theory. You will also be required to teach 20% practical lessons/general cover.

The role is full time, to start asap and is ongoing.

The role:

• Teacher of PE
• Good curriculum knowledge of GCSE PE Theory
• Be willing to teach Health and Social Theory and Sports Education Theory
• Included in the timetable is 20% practical lessons/general cover
• Full-time position
• Asap start
• Until 18^th July 2025
• Pay up to £223.62 per day depending on experience.

The school:

• 11-16 secondary school
• Mixed school
• 900 + students on roll

The essentials:

• Experience teaching PE Theory
• Enhanced Child workforce DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake a new one
• Full and complete career history
• Minimum of 2 references including your most recent employment reference
• Legal right to work in the UK
