Part-Time Year 4 Teacher
Position: Part-Time Year 4 Teacher (Fixed Term)
Location: North Chesterfield
Contract: October 2024 - Easter 2025 (with potential extension)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Role Description:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-Time Year 4 Teacher to join our team on a fixed-term contract from October 2024 until at least Easter 2025. This role involves taking full responsibility for a Year 4 class, including planning and assessment, and attending staff meetings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivering engaging and effective lessons in accordance with the national curriculum.
  • Planning and preparing schemes of work and individual lessons.
  • Assessing and recording students' progress and providing feedback to parents and guardians.
  • Participating in regular staff meetings and contributing to the school's continuous improvement.
  • Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning and personal development.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Strong commitment to student welfare and educational excellence.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • This role is suitable for an Early Career Teacher (ECT) seeking to develop their skills and experience.
