Long Term Futures is seeking a dedicated and passionate teacher to join a specialist education setting in High Peak (SK23) for the new academic year. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to support students with profound learning needs in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

The Role:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet individual learning needs
• Set clear learning objectives and structured lessons to promote student progression
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, ensuring high expectations for all students
• Use assessment effectively to track progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly
• Encourage positive behaviour and support students in developing independence
• Collaborate with a supportive team to provide high-quality education and care

What We're Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience in teaching, ideally in an alternative provision or SEND environment
• Knowledge of working with students with profound learning needs
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students
• A flexible and caring approach, with a commitment to safeguarding and student welfare
