Primary Teaching Assistants - Peterborough and surrounding areas

We are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants for mainstream primary and specialist schools in Peterborough and the surrounding areas. Ideally, you will have experience working with children and some background in supporting learners with conditions such as autism, Asperger's syndrome, Down syndrome, dyslexia, dyspraxia, or emotional and behavioural difficulties.
The Role:
Working hours: 8:30 AM to 3:45 PM
- Flexibility is key, as you'll work across various settings with children who have diverse needs
- Some students may be nonverbal, and you may be required to assist with personal care
- Knowledge of Makaton or PECS would be advantageous
- If you're a caring, patient, and friendly individual looking to gain experience in the special needs sector, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. A positive attitude and resilience will make you an excellent Teaching Assistant.
- Although the role is on a supply basis, you can work up to five days a week, offering flexibility.
