Teaching Assistant - SEND Unit (Tameside) - Full-Time, Long-Term

Tradewind Recruitment is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support children with complex needs in a specialist SEND unit within a Primary School in Tameside. This is a full-time, long-term role, with the potential for a permanent school contract.

About the Role:

• Supporting children with complex needs who are working at an EYFS level
• Assisting in the delivery of tailored learning activities
• Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to create a supportive environment
• Helping to manage behaviour and encourage social and emotional development

What We're Looking For:

• Experience working with SEND pupils, particularly those with complex needs
• A calm, patient, and adaptable approach to supporting learning
• A background in EYFS or SEND support is beneficial but not essential
