Flourish Education are recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to work at a Primary School in the Studley. Our client is looking to a recruit a full time SEN Teaching Assistant to work on a long-term basis.

The SEN Teaching Assistant role is to support Year 1 and Year 2 (KS1) starting from September for the full academic year.   

The successful applicant would need to have a secure understanding on the Primary curriculum, strong behaviour management skills, and previous experience of supporting those with SEN. The school are looking for candidates who are willing to commit to long-term position to ensure consistency for the children.

Required Skills and Experience for this SEN Teaching Assistant role:       


  • Minium Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a UK Primary School or Nursery
  • Experience in a Key Stage 1 (KS1) is a bonus
  • Committed to long term role
  • SEN experience is advantageous

Working for Flourish Education as a SEN Teaching Assistant you will receive:


  • Up to £95 per day which equates to £18,525 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year.
  • Up to £100 welcome to the team bonus

  • Holiday Pay - for PAYE candidates you accrue this at 12.07% of your day rate

The position is in a Primary School in Studley, and is easily to commute from Alcester, Northfield, Longbridge and Redditch. The school has an onsite car park and is easily accessible via public transport.
