Pay: £85-£95 PAYE
Seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN PMLD Teaching Assistant to join the team. As a specialist secondary school catering to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), complex needs, and Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD), they are looking for individuals who are passionate about supporting the unique needs of our students.
Responsibilities:
- Providing support in the classroom to students with ASD, complex needs, and PMLD
- Assisting with personal care and daily living tasks
- Implementing individualized learning plans and supporting students in accessing the curriculum
- Collaborating with teachers and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience working with students with special educational needs, particularly ASD, complex needs, and PMLD
- Understanding of individualized learning strategies and differentiation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathy, patience, and a positive attitude towards supporting students with diverse needs
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
