Teaching Assistant (Year 7 & 8)

Location: Secondary School, Llanishen, Cardiff
Start Date: January 2025
Contract Type: Full-Time, Monday to Friday
Salary: £83 per day

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team at a secondary school in Llanishen, Cardiff. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to make a positive impact on the education and well-being of students in Year 7 and Year 8.
Key Responsibilities:

• Support students in their learning by working with small groups or on a one-to-one basis.
• Assist with classroom management to ensure a positive and productive learning environment.
• Help students with additional learning needs, providing tailored support where necessary.
• Encourage student participation and engagement in lessons.
• Support teachers in preparing resources and activities.
• Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback where appropriate.

Key Requirements:

• A passion for working with young people and helping them succeed.
• Previous experience working with children or in a school setting is desirable but not essential.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
• Patience, empathy, and a proactive attitude.
• A commitment to promoting the well-being and academic progress of all students.
