SEND Learning support assistant

Duties & Responsibilities

The role is to support well being throughout the SEND provision for students year 9-11,

Support in class or 1:1, small group work. You will also be expected to go into the community to reintegrate individual students back into their home schools

To engage students with physical exercise, cookery BTEC, well being sessions and in class

To encourage a positive, can do mind set throughout the provision

To support the students with their learning and development

To assist the teachers within the year groups with the reporting and assessing of the individual care plans

If successful in the initial 3 month trial period, you will be taken on to a contract as a permanent member of staff.

Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm, Graduate

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: �85.00-�105.00 per day
