Connex Education is searching for enthusiastic and proactive Teaching Assistant to support in primary school around the Hartlepool area for roles commencing in September 2024. Connex Education are delighted to have the opportunity to work in positive, inclusive school environments.

About the school

The school is looking for a Teaching Assistant who has experience working throughout the school, ideally with experience supporting pupils with SEND. While supporting children with their learning, we are seeking a Teaching Assistant who can provide a nurture-based approach to school life.

Assignment details

This role will commence from September.

Person Specification

• Experience working in an educational environment with children aged between 4 and 11 years.
• Be willing to support on a 1:1 basis or work in small groups with children
• Have behaviour management skills
• Knowledge of Phonics and Read, Write Inc
• Be organised and reliable
• Have a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to process a new one
• Willing to go the extra mile!
