The School and Role 



Vision for Education are currently recruiting on behalf of Cascade Multi- Academy Trust in Sheffield. The schools are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to start a part-time contract from September supporting in the IR Unit. The school are looking for candidates who can: 





  • Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and carers.  






  • Set high expectations and act as a role model.  






  • Have excellent behaviour management techniques and be experienced working with children with SEN and additional needs.  






  • Work with the class teacher and other members of staff to create a positive and appropriate learning environment.  






The primary school is a large primary school in North Sheffield. There are 3 classes for each year group from Reception to Year 6. The school also has 2 large nurseries supporting children from 2-year-old. The school is part of the Cascade Multi-Academy Trust.  





Requirements  



The desired Teaching Assistant will have:  





  • Experience of working with primary school aged children 






  • Experience of working with pupils with SEND in a Mainstream setting. 






  • Available to work on a full-time basis.  






  • The ability to work as part of a team.
