Teaching Assistant

At Excell Supply, we are an Education Supply Agency, who supply teachers and teaching assistants to schools on a long- and short-term basis. This can be anything from day-to-day cover to long term contracts in school. The areas we cover include North Wales, Cheshire, Wirral and Shropshire. We have been established since 2011 and have a passion for finding our Teachers and Teaching assistants their ideal roles.
The Role
We are currently looking for a Teaching Assistant to work in Primary schools in the Flintshire area. We have a range of full and part time supply available.
As a TA your role and responsibilities include:
Providing support on a 1:1 basis
Promoting good behaviour / managing challenging behaviour
Aiding pupils in their learning as effectively as possible
Helping children with additional educational needs
Providing feedback on learning and development to the teacher
Creating and maintaining an orderly and supportive learning environment
Administrative tasks
What we are looking for
To be considered for these roles, you will need to be someone who has a caring and nurturing personality, who is able to build rapport with children, but also effectively manage challenging behaviour.
A teaching assistant qualification would be ideal but not essential and experience working with Primary age children would be preferred.
