Vision for Education is seeking an experienced and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team. This position is based in primary schools across the Fenland area. We are committed to providing high-quality education support and are looking for an individual who shares our vision of making a positive impact in the lives of young learners.



About the role

Working as a Teaching Assistant on a temporary basis within primary schools. The hours are 8:30 - 3:30. We have a number of temporary vacancies starting throughout the autumn term and many of these will have the opportunity to become permanent within a few months. The role will include:


  • Collaborate with teachers to plan and deliver engaging lessons, providing targeted support to individual students or small groups.
  • Assist in the implementation of personalized learning strategies to cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive classroom culture, fostering students' social and emotional development.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Teaching Assistant you will:



  • Experience: Minimum of 6 months experience as a Teaching Assistant (or equivalent role) preferably in a primary school setting, or perhaps an Early Years setting.
  • Qualifications: Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is preferable but not required if you have experience

All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.

Salary

£425 to £475 per week

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:



  • Must hold or be willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS Check
