Location : Bar Hill, Cambridgeshire
Salary: £16,049 - £18,044 (Actual Salary per year) Trust, Grades 5-6 (Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant)
Job Type: Temporary, Part Time
Hours: Term-time only role 30 hours per week (Includes 25 hours as Teaching Assistant and 5 hours Midday Supervision)

The Role
You will be part of a very friendly team working to supporting a child's learning in the schools lower Key Stage 2 team. This will be a varied role where you will need to be consistent and resourceful - this is a rewarding and vital role in supporting the learning and wellbeing of the children and you will see their progress every day!
An element of your duties will also include preparation of fantastic teaching resources/class displays and will also include midday supervision during the childrens lunchbreak.
A Level 3 Teaching assistant role may also include some teaching responsibility i.e. cover for the class teacher on occasions.

Skills and Qualifications
Will have achieved GCSE English & Mathematics Grade C (4/5) or above or equivalent
Has some experience of supporting children in Key Stages One or Two.
Will possess outstanding communication skills and can work well in a team
Demonstrates an understanding of child protection and safeguarding issues
