Are you passionate about supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?
Do you have experience helping children with additional needs thrive in an educational setting?
If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join a dedicated school in Romford as a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, starting ASAP.
About the role:
- Supporting students with SEN in both 1:1 and group settings.
- Managing groups of individuals from a class without the presence of the teacher.
- Using on initiative to plan, organise and manage activities and tasks.
- Helping to create a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Working closely with other staff members to ensure all students receive the appropriate care and guidance.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with students with SEN.
- A patient, compassionate, and adaptable approach.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- A commitment to supporting the emotional, social, and academic development of students with SEN.
