Teaching Assistant

SupportED Recruitment are looking for teaching assistants to work in our York and/or Leeds schools�in both long and short term roles. The roles are to work in either an EYFS, KS1 or KS2 setting. The positions can be either a general or 1:1 teaching assistant role or a mixture of both. In the role your duties will include:

• Supporting the class teacher in delivering lessons and activities


• Helping the children with their education, by helping to create an engaging learning environment.


• Supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis


• Providing social and emotional support


• Generating resources


• Supporting the class teacher with potential challenging behaviour


• Dealing with challenging behaviour
