Teaching Assistant

Tradewind Recruitment is excited to announce that we are recruiting on behalf of a fantastic Independent Special Needs School in Nottingham for SEN Teaching Assistants to join their team on a full-time basis (Monday to Friday) to support across KS2 to KS5 on a temporary to permanent basis.

The Independent Special Needs School is located 8 miles from Grantham and due to the location a full UK Driving License and access to a vehicle is essential.

This role will involve supporting a children with special education needs, helping them to reach their full potential in a supportive and inclusive environment. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced educators and specialists to provide tailored support for student's individual learning needs.

All children who attend the school have an EHCP and their needs cannot be met in a mainstream setting. As a result of this, you may see some of the following behaviours:

• Swearing
• Physical aggression
• Absconding
• Defiance
• Attachment issues
• Distrust of new people
• Sensory overload
• Self-harm
• Withdrawing

Key Information:

• Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
• Location: Nottingham
• Start Date: ASAP
• Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30 to 16:15
• Support Focus: Autism and ADHD and Challenging Behaviour
• Daily Rate: �85 - �105 per day (depending on experience)

Essential Requirements:

• Relevant TA qualifications
• Strong references supporting prior experience
• A full CV covering your employment history
• Right to workin the UK
• All candidates will be required to provide suitable references and undergo an enhanced DBS check.
