CALLING ALL TEACHING ASSISTANTS!
I have an amazing opportunity for dedicated Teaching Assistants to join an independent specialist educational college in Cranborne, Wimborne. Your role as a Teaching Assistant would be to support students between the ages of 16-25 years old with development and independence. You will create a safe and caring learning environment and build a professional & trusted relationship with the students putting their health, safety and overall development first.
Title: Teaching Assistant
Pay: £20,941 - £22,836 per annum
Location: Cranborne, Wimborne (BH21 postcode)
Hours: 40 hours per week (term time only)
Contract: Permanent

What you'll be doing as a Teaching Assistant:
- Support and facilitate the learning and independence of our students.
- Contribute to planning, preparation, implementation and evaluation of education programmes, plans and reports as required.
- Contribute to assessing, recording, and reporting on young people's progress
- Promote and encourage independence at all times.
- Keep records accurately and up to date
- Ensure safeguarding and health and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Promote the development of positive social behaviours and self-regulation skills
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own car
- Level 2 or equivalent in Maths and English
- Please note that the minimum age to work on-site is 21
- Be positive and creative in meeting young people's needs
- Be able to work on your own as well as part of a team
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- Competent ICT skills
