Job Advertisement: Secondary School Teaching Assistant - New Moston

Location: New Moston, Greater Manchester
Salary: Up to £100 per day (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 15:30
Contract: Long-term placement with potential for permanent contract

About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic secondary school in New Moston. The successful candidate will support the delivery of high-quality education, helping students to reach their full potential in a positive and inclusive learning environment. This is a long-term placement, with the possibility of a permanent contract for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in the delivery of lessons across various subjects
• Support students with individual needs, including those with special educational needs
• Provide one-to-one and small group support
• Help maintain a positive and effective learning environment
• Monitor and track students' progress
• Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children in a professional capacity (essential)
• A positive, proactive attitude and the ability to motivate students
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A passion for education and supporting young people
