Teaching Assistant

SupportED Recruitment are looking for an SEN teaching assistant�to work in one of our wonderful York schools. This KS1�role is soon to start and would be full time for the Spring term with a strong possibility of continuing for the right candidate.

If you have had experience with personal care in schools or in social care, we would love to hear from you right away.

In the role your duties will include:

• Supporting the class teacher in delivering lessons and activities


• Helping your 1:1 pupil with their education, by helping to create an engaging, safe learning environment.


• Providing social and emotional support�


• Generating resources


• Assisting in any possible personal care if needed


• Supporting the class teacher with potential challenging behaviour
