Position: Teaching Assistant

Location: Normanton, Derby

Working Hours: Full-Time

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for a fulfilling role in a supportive school environment? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at a school in Normanton, Derby.

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one support to a Year 3 student

• Assist with general Teaching Assistant duties within the classroom

• Help to create a positive and engaging learning environment

• Support the teacher in delivering the Key Stage 2 curriculum

• Foster the academic and social development of students

Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a Key Stage 2 environment

• Good understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards supporting children's learning

• Relevant qualifications in education or teaching assistance (desired but not essential)
