In order to help students who require extra assistance, Randstad Education is collaborating with a fantastic primary school in Bristol that is seeking an experienced teaching assistant. For the remainder of the academic year, this position will begin in January 2025 (ASAP).

Responsibilities:
- Assist classroom teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Support students with their learning through one-on-one assistance and small group interventions.
- Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Promote the social and emotional development of students, fostering their confidence and independence.
- Assist with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
- Collaborate with teaching staff and other support staff to meet the individual needs of students.
- Contribute to the planning and preparation of teaching resources and materials.
Requirements:
- Relevant teaching assistant qualification (Level 1, 2, or 3).
- Experience in working within a primary school setting.
- Thorough understanding of the curriculum and learning objectives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Caring and compassionate approach towards students.
- Strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- 2 professional references are required.
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply a new one.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
