About the Role

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will be a key member of the classroom, supporting teachers in creating a positive and engaging learning environment. You will work with pupils across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2, providing support on a one-to-one basis, in small groups, and within whole-class settings.

• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons.
• Provide individual and small group support to pupils who need extra help.
• Encourage children's academic progress, confidence, and participation.
• Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a structured learning environment.
• Support children's social and emotional development.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience working with children in a school or childcare setting (desirable but not essential).
• A positive, proactive, and adaptable approach to supporting learning.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• The ability to motivate and engage pupils in their education.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
