About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support pupils aged 4-11, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting the class teacher in delivering lessons and managing the classroom.
• Providing one-to-one and small group support to pupils needing extra help.
• Encouraging children's confidence, participation, and academic progress.
• Supporting children's social and emotional development in a nurturing environment.
• Helping to maintain a structured and inclusive classroom atmosphere.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience working with children in a school or childcare setting (preferred but not essential).
• A positive, adaptable, and proactive approach to supporting learning.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• The ability to motivate and engage young learners.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
