We are on the lookout for staff who can cover a variety of teaching assistant roles ranging from nursery classes to special resource bases, working hours and days of work will vary around school needs initially, however work can become more regular as familiarity with the schools progresses.

Prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant is mandatory for these roles and previous experience working with pupils diagnosed with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) would be advantageous. These are fantastic opportunities to get on the radar of some of the best schools in Monmouth, so if you're either an experienced teaching assistant looking for flexible work or newly qualified and starting your journey and wanting a foot in the door this would be suitable. 

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant / TA qualification Or 6 months experience with children in an educational establishment
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Ability to remain clam in stressful situations
• Preferable having experience in working with additional learning needs
