School House Recruitment are seeking experienced Teaching Assistants for several schools they assist in the Dronfield/Chesterfield areas. The schools love the idea of working closely with a smaller, independent supply teaching specialist that genuinely looks after its supply staff. Assignments available vary from Day-to-Day on a short-term basis, to Monday to Friday on a long-term basis.
Our Teaching Assistants (TAs) have a real passion for helping teachers to develop the knowledge and skills of young learners, together with a cheerful personality to ensure every day at school is fun. Ideally they are Level 2 and/or Level 3 qualified, and also have strong literacy and numeracy skills. Many are familiar with the more popular learning systems e.g. Phonics/Read Write Inc. and White Rose Maths/Maths Makes Sense.
Whether working closely with the class teacher in whole class, taking smaller booster groups or doing 1-2-1 intervention work, our Teaching Assistants confidently provide a valuable contribution to the schools we assist.
What type of individuals are we looking for?
We need experienced Teaching Assistants with either a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification
Confident individuals who are happy to work in whole class, in small groups or on a 1-2-1 basis
Positive role models who work closely with the class teacher to offer pupils additional support
Teaching Assistants who are passionate about the education of young learners
Those available to work full and part-time hours Monday to Friday on day-to-day and long-term assignments starting asap
