Position: Teaching Assistant

Location: M35 Area, Manchester
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Salary: £12.83 - £14.54 per hour

Reeson Education is working with a fantastic primary school in the M35 area to recruit a Teaching Assistant to support a KS1 class on a full-time, long-term basis.

This is a vibrant and inclusive school that values creativity, outdoor learning, and a knowledge-rich curriculum. With a Forest School, extensive playing fields, and a unique 'Our World' curriculum, children are inspired to learn in exciting and meaningful ways. Staff work collaboratively to ensure every child thrives academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities for the Teaching Assistant:

• Provide classroom support as a teaching assistant to KS1 pupils in core subjects
• Work 1:1 and in small groups to boost confidence and progress
• Help foster a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
• Support children in developing key skills such as problem-solving and communication
• Encourage independence, resilience, and a love of learning

Requirements for the Teaching Assistant:

• Passion for supporting young learners
• Ability to adapt and engage pupils of all abilities
• Experience working with children in a classroom setting (desirable)
• A positive, patient, and proactive approach
• Commitment to a long-term role in a supportive school
