Position: Teaching Assistant
Location: M43, Primary School
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday (30-minute lunch break)
Salary: £12.83 - £14.54 per hour

Reeson Education is recruiting a Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in the M43 area. This full-time, long-term Teaching Assistant role will involve working closely with the Year 6 class, supporting the class teacher, and helping students who need additional support to access learning.

Key Responsibilities for the Teaching Assistant:

• Support the Year 6 class teacher in delivering lessons and ensuring that all students have access to the curriculum.
• Provide one-to-one support for students who are struggling with their learning and need extra help to stay on track.
• Lead interventions for pupils with lower ability to help them improve academically.
• Support students with social and emotional challenges to help them feel confident and engaged in their learning.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that encourages all pupils to succeed.

Requirements for the Teaching Assistant:

• Experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting (preferably with Year 6).
• A passion for working with children and supporting those who need additional help to thrive.
• Ability to adapt to the needs of individual students and provide tailored support.
• A patient, empathetic, and approachable manner.
• Commitment to a full-time, long-term position.
