Are you passionate about supporting student's learning and development in a secondary school setting?

We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work in secondary schools across the Runcorn area. If you have a passion for working with young people, are patient, and have excellent communication skills, we would love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers in the delivery of lessons and support students in their learning
• Provide individual or small group support to students with additional learning needs
• Help with classroom management and ensure a safe and positive learning environment
• Support students with emotional and social development, providing encouragement and guidance as needed
• Assist with the preparation of learning materials and resources
• Help with general classroom duties, including maintaining a tidy and organised learning space
• Promote the school's policies and procedures, particularly around safeguarding and behaviour management

What We Are Looking For:

• Previous experience working with secondary school students (in an educational setting or similar)
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students
• A proactive and flexible approach to supporting student's needs
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to motivate and inspire students
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
• A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to the wider school community
