Teaching Assistant

Are you a Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in a Primary School? We are recruiting a SEND TA for one of our partner schools in Quinton, they require someone on a full-time basis who can start immediately and continue with them until at least May Half Term.

This role will involve supporting children with additional needs of varying ages, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in an inclusive and nurturing school environment.

As a SEND Teaching Assistant you will be responsible for:

• Supporting pupils with SEND on a 1:1 and in small groups
• Delivering targeted interventions
• Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
• Providing tailored support to pupils
• Helping children develop confidence, independence, and social skills
• Managing behaviour effectively to create a positive learning environment
• Working collaboratively with teachers and SENCO to adapt learning strategies

Required Skills and Experience:

• Teaching Assistant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification
• Experience working in a Primary School setting
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum, particularly in Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2)
• Passionate about providing a high level of SEND support
