As a successful Residential Childcare Practitioner, you will possess:
* A fun-loving, caring, and hard-working attitude.
* Familiarity with residential care principles (beneficial but not required).
* A Level 3 or 4 qualification in Residential Child Care (Children and Young People's Workforce) or a willingness to work towards this.
* Flexibility to work shifts and sleep overnight in the home.
* A valid Right to Work in the UK.

Your responsibilities as a Residential Care Practitioner will include:
* Supporting and working with children and young people to promote independence and achieve positive outcomes.
* Engaging in direct, practical interactions such as play, activities, cooking, personal care, and supporting educational and health needs.
* Completing general household duties and maintenance.
* Conducting health and safety checks.
* Managing budgets, keyworking, and advocating for the children.
* Managing behavior and working to a high standard, aligned with OFSTED framework, Children’s Homes Regulations, and the Quality Care Standards.
* Implementing care plans and adhering to individual risk assessments.
* Collaborating with external agencies and writing reports.
