Factory Team lead (Food)

Cambridgeshire (CB8)

Commutable from Haverhill, Bury St Edmonds, Cambridge, Ely, Thetford, Duxford
£15/hour + Overtime

mon-saturday (5 days a week- double days shifts- 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm)

Our client is a food manufacturer who are looking to bring in a new factory team lead to act as a link between the supervisor and the production team. This will be an opportunity to join a successful and growing industry with a company who prioritises their staff and quality.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Day to day control and management of the team
  • Managing Safety, Hygiene, Quality, Quantity, Compliance and Cost Responsibilities
  • Ensuring compliance to Health, Safety and Fire regulation
  • Driving KPIs, Limiting Wastage and downtime
  • Ensuring team are fully trained
  • Escalting breakdowns and ensuring minimal disruption to production

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in a food production environment
  • Experience of leading a team
  • Knowledge of HACCP, Hygiene, Health and Safety & Allergens are all beneficial
  • Good communication skills- written and oral
