Shift and Pay Information for Production Operative:
* Monday to Friday
* Weekend availability
* £12.94 per hour
What you'll be doing as a Team Leader based in Butterwick:
* Supervise and coordinate daily activities of hatchery operatives.
* Ensure optimal incubation and hatching conditions, monitoring temperature, humidity, and ventilation.
* Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to enhance their skills and performance.
* Maintain accurate records of hatchery production, including egg handling, incubation data, and chick quality.
* Implement and enforce biosecurity protocols to prevent disease and ensure the health of hatchlings.
* Collaborate with management to develop and improve hatchery processes and productivity.
* Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues as they arise.
* Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
* Assist in inventory management of supplies and equipment
* Ability to work shifts (start times can vary)
