Salary: £15.00/hr depending on attendance and performance
What You'll Do:
? Lead a team of +8 Mechanics while assigning daily tasks as needed and
ensuring workflow is efficient and thorough.
? Perform a variety repairs from basic maintenance to complex electronic part
replacement.
? Maximize the number of operational vehicles by efficiently completing tasks
assigned
? Identify issues and find creative solutions to overcome obstacles
? Maintain and abide by safety and hygiene standards within the warehouse
? Monitor, track and evaluate performance of your team and give performance feedback
? Receive additional training to become a great mechanic!
? Oversee and train new mechanics while maintaining a team oriented
environment and integrating new mechanics to the team
? Additional job related tasks as assigned
About You:
? Previous experience truing and building wheel is essential
? Experience as a mechanic in the automotive/transportation industry
? An Electrical engineering or mechanic background - qualifications such as
Cytech level 2 or similar are hugely advantageous
? Ability to lift up to 65lbs / 30kg on a frequent basis required
? Ability to operate a mobile device including having knowledge of app-based
workflows. iOS experience preferred
? Good communicator with the ability to read and follow instructions
? Willingness to learn, a great attitude, and ability to work well with others -
teamwork is key to success
