Requirements:

  • Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration
  • Strong leadership and management experience
  • Proven track record of working within children's disability services
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices
  • A proactive and creative approach to service development and improvement

Salary: Up to £60,515 per annum
Bonuses & Benefits: £7,000 welcome bonus*, £1,000 retention payment every 2 years, and additional benefits
Contract: Permanent | Full Time (36 hours)
Location: South West London, London (Hybrid)
Ofsted Rating: 'Good'

Are you an experienced and passionate social work leader looking to make a real impact in the lives of children with disabilities and their families?

As a Team Manager of the Supporting Disabled Children's Service, you will be working alongside the other teams in the service, our Transitions Team and colleagues in our Preparing for Adulthood Service. You will also work closely with our in-house providers of short breaks, health and education professionals and a range of private and voluntary organisations.

Your Role:
As a Team Manager in our Supporting Disabled Children Service, you will:

  • Allocate work and monitor performance to ensure high-quality service delivery
  • Support and develop a skilled team in delivering outstanding social work practice
  • Champion anti-racist and anti-oppressive practices, ensuring equitable services for all families
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to enhance outcomes for disabled children
  • Drive innovation and best practice within the service
