Technical Architect AWS
Location: Remote - With 1-2 days per month in London
An internationally recognised Education provider are embarking on a period of transformation and are looking for experienced IT Technical Architects to join on a permanent basis.
This will suit a hands on Technical Architect, happy to input to strategy and design and implement cloud-based solutions, predominately on AWS (migrating off of Oracle). This role involves collaborating with teams and partners to deliver high-quality solutions and shape standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement cloud-based solutions, AWS.
- Support on-prem and hybrid solutions where necessary.
- Lead on the provision of Data-centric APIs.
- Key contributor to the Technical Design Authority and Cloud Centre of Excellence.
- Shaping best practise in AWS Well-Archtected Framework
- Engage in Proof of Concept and Prototyping activities.
Requirements:
- Excellent architectural modelling skills and business process design.
- Proven track record of delivering successful projects.
- Hands-on experience of leading working practices on AWS.
- Working with 3rd parties to provide integrated SaaS Solutions.
- Strong understanding of data, design and integration (API Gateway)
- Experience in the wider EdTech market is advantageous but not a prerequisite.
