Technical Area Sales ManagerHorticulture📍 Lancashire/YorkshireCompetitive salary, full expensed company car / fuel card & annual bonusThe opportunity: An excellent opportunity has arisen for a driven, resilient, and experienced 'Technical Area Sales Manager' to join Sinclair, part of Westland Horticulture. Sinclair are specialists in growing media. Their product range consistently delivers the optimum growing technology to successfully produce healthy vibrant plantsThe purpose of the role is to sell the full range of Sinclair professional media, bark and fertilisers to a wide range of commercial growers and distributors, driving profitable growth in your designated area, whilst offering technical support for the products, to ensure customers receive the best experience and technical back up.What will my accountabilities be? To maximise opportunities for Sinclair sales to negotiate profitable and improved marginsTo support and work in partnership with commercial nurseries and distributors, to drive growth and margin opportunitiesTo help develop technical solutions to growers’ problems and resolve through the Sinclair technical teamsTo develop new customers in your regionTo support and implement the growth business strategy, that incorporates increasing large grower and distributor networksResponsible for producing monthly reporting figures and working with department head to proactively identify opportunities, to increase profitabilityTo ensure exceptional customer service ( specific targets by account ) is always achieved, by communicating effectively with both internal & external contactsTo improve and maintain annual pricing architecture and cost price increase planTo inform and communicate the performance of your region to the wider sales teamTo report back market intelligenceWho will I be working with?
