Technical Assessor (Asbestos)

Role: Asbestos Technical AssessorLocation: Remote, UK coverageWe are currently looking for an External Technical Assessor with extensive experience of asbestos testing and inspection work.Playing a pivotal role, our external Technical Assessors are a crucial part of the UKAS assessment process, providing UKAS with the essential expertise required to deliver robust assessments in the asbestos sector.Key skills:Ideally be COC Asbestos qualified or most of the P401 to P408 completed, equivalent qualifications will also be considered.Proven experience of asbestos testing and/or inspection activitiesExperience of internal or external auditing would be beneficial to ISO/IEC17025, ISO/IEC17020 although full training will be given to become a Technical AssessorDemonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, being able to communicate effectively with testing and inspection staff, Senior Management Teams and their customers at all levels.Becoming a technical assessor for UKAS provides a unique and rewarding opportunity for industry professionals to expand their skills and enhance your career alongside your current role.To find out more about the opportunity follow the link: privacy notice link:
