Technical Business Analyst - West Malling

Are you a Technical Business Analyst looking to work for a leading Mortgage Broker/Lender in West Malling, Kent?

Our client are looking for a motivated analytical individual to join their growing IT team, where you will report to the Head of Systems Design.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the creation of process analysis, facilitation of workshops, creation of user story documents & technical design documents/technical specifications, strong stakeholder management, and experience with Waterfall, Agile or Kanban development methodologies.

This is a permanent, office-based opportunity, offering a salary of £28,000-£30,000, with a yearly salary review & bonus scheme! Additionally, supported training is offered to support your professional growth within the business!

Main duties will include:

• Work in collaboration with Stakeholders, Operational Business Analysts, Developers, Test Analysts gathering requirements and transforming into actionable technical design documents.
\n
• Review and understand User Stories from the Operations team and transform these into actionable technical design documents for the development team, translating business requirements into technical artifacts.
\n
• Identify and compare the best processes or delivery methods to use, including measuring and evaluating outcomes
\n
• Liaise with Line Manager, escalating any challenges with suggested resolutions.
\n
• Meetings with key project members throughout the change control process.
\n
• Creation of documents such as Project Roadmaps, Project Plans, Technical Design Documents, Specifications, Test Scripts, Procedure Documentation, System Manuals.
\n
• Understanding requirements and design solutions to ensure acceptance criteria is met.
\n
• Out of hours implementation testing once a week. Out of hours' time is recorded and given back.

What skills will you have?

The successful candidate will collaborate with both the operational and technical departments transforming requirements into system solutions that fit the needs of the business.

• High competence in Microsoft - Visio, PowerPoint, Excel & Word.
\n
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps or Click Up would be beneficial.
\n
• Experience in SQL would be beneficial.
\n
• An understanding of C#, Classic ASP, Java would be beneficial.
\n
• Knowledge of the mortgage process would be beneficial.
\n
• Experience in a Change Control environment including the creation of documents such as Project Roadmaps, Technical Design Documents, Specifications.

• Understanding / Experience of Waterfall, Agile & Kanban Methodologies
