Technical Buyer / Engineering Buyer
We are a hugely successful and pioneering machinery manufacturer proud to be delivering innovative, bespoke solutions and turnkey systems to our customers all over the world.
Due to our continuing growth, we now have an exciting new position for an Engineering Buyer within our busy and fast-paced purchasing team.
The Engineering Buyer will play a pivotal role in supporting the Purchasing department with the implementation of new strategies, policies, and procedures with a key focus on negotiating and placing orders for machined components and other direct and indirect products.
You will become a key stakeholder in the supply chain management process within our business through delivery of objectives including procurement of materials, supplier management, requests for quotations and much more

Proven purchasing experience within an engineering/manufacturing environment.
Understanding of engineering drawings.
A basic understanding of manufacturing processes.
Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office
Experience in ERP/MRP systems.
Contractual and commercial awareness.
