TECHNICAL ADVISOR


Carbon60 are looking to recruit a Technical Advisor to work for a large utilities company based in Reading.
ROLE: Technical Advisor
SALARY: �14 p/h, circa �27,000 per annum (PAYE)
JOB TYPE: 6 months with extension likely
LOCATION: Reading (RH1)
HOURS: Full time, 37 hours, Monday to Friday
WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid working - currently 2 days in the office and 3 days at home.
THE ROLE:

  • Working as a Technical Advisor within the Metering team you will be responsible for resolving complex billing and metering queries.
  • Consult with the service providers regularly to provide weekly reports to the customers.
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that all queries are addressed promptly and effectively, whether communicated through email or over the phone.
  • Display flexibility and a proactive mindset in managing a diverse customer base, ensuring that service levels remain high even when juggling multiple tasks and adhering to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and targets.
  • Excel in a customer relations capacity, using your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including those within the company and external partners, contributing to a cohesive business environment


THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:

  • Previous experience of working within a Customer Service environment (1 Year +).
  • Excellent problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent communication skills and willingness to learn.

Good Knowledge of Microsoft office applications including analysing excel based data
