Job Description Technical Delivery Manager - Azure About the Role: The Technical Delivery Manager - Azure is responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of cloud-based projects and services leveraging Microsoft Azure. This role requires a blend of technical acumen, project management expertise, and leadership skills to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Project Management: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of Azure cloud projects. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation. Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to ensure successful completion. Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance and leadership in the design, development, and deployment of Azure solutions. Ensure best practices and standards are followed in cloud architecture and implementation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of cloud services. Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders. Communicate project status, risks, and issues effectively. Gather requirements and feedback to ensure client satisfaction and continuous improvement. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of cloud engineers and developers. Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment. Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks. Develop contingency plans to address potential challenges. Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements. Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvements and innovations in project delivery. Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure features and industry trends. Implement and promote best practices in cloud computing. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Experience: 5+ years of experience in IT project management. 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure. Proven track record of delivering complex cloud projects. Certifications: Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer, or equivalent. PMP, PRINCE2, or other relevant project management certifications. Skills: Strong understanding of Azure infrastructure, services, and tools. Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Preferred Skills: Experience with DevOps practices and tools. Knowledge of other cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud).
