Technical Director - Data Center

The Client
Datacenter People is working with a specialist investment and advisory firm that partners with the leading hyperscale and colocation giants of the data center industry.
This role has a unique scope covering design, consultancy, investment, development, land acquisition, power procurement, energy and sustainability, and feasibility studies.
Manage and deliver work packages in multiple concurrent projects, either in the UK or internationally
identify the scope, design and management objectives and deliver project documentation, ensuring the quality and flow of information required for contractors, vendors and regulatory authorities
Plan, organise, manage and manage work packages to include technical specifications, reports, calculations and drawings/models appropriate to the relevant level of detail
Assist the project manager in the preparation / review of project costs, risk assessments and progress monitoring
Develop and maintain vendor relationships ensuring continuous technical professional development; Review contractor pre-qualifications and prepared tender evaluation summaries for tender reviews.
