Technical Engineer - Passive Fire Protection

Our client is seeking an experienced Technical Services Engineer with experience in passive fire protection ideally within building facades. You will be responsible for responding to technical enquiries from both internal and external stakeholders regarding the design, installation and performance of their systems with a primary focus on building envelope. Responsibilities include;Collaborating with project management teams to address technical queries and providing solutions aligned to the project requirements and product specifications. Analysing technical specifications, drawings, and project plans to advise on the best product selection, standards and regulations. Staying current with industry standards and regulations related to passive fire protection of the building envelope and integrating this knowledge into technical support activities.You will need to be experienced in a technical, construction or building services role, preferably passive fire protection. Experience in technical writing including the creation of technical reports is also essential. Ideally, you will have a degree in construction or similar. This is a customer facing role and in addition to your technical skills, you will have excellent interpersonal skills and be a great ambassador for the business.This is a home based role with occasional travel.
