Due to continued success and rapid expansion plans, a UK manufacturing company has an exciting opportunity for a Technical Engineer to join their Corby based site. You will provide daily support to different departments within the company and report directly to the Engineering Manager and Technical Lead.

As the Technical Engineer

• Deal directly with sales teams to receive, produce, and interpret customer orders
• Work with 2D & 3D AutoCAD
• Undertake production planning activities
• Attend monthly meetings
• Coding where needed
• Ability to problem solve within the company
• Assisting with customer orders and procurement
• Ensuring product meets customer specifications

As the Technical Engineer you will have a confident understanding or experience of:

• AutoCAD/Solidworks
• Experience in working within manufacturing
• Have excellent customer service experience and the ability to undertake cost negotiation with both customers and suppliers.
• Hold Engineering qualifications including Level 3 Engineering.

We would expect the successful Technical Engineer to be able to demonstrate, a good working knowledge of CAD, have excellent communication skills, and be able to educate others. Working directly with the Technical Lead and Engineering Manager, as well as other departments. You will be supported 1 to 1 to become familiar with the company processes and procedures. This would be an ideal role for you if have worked within engineering, design or mechanical engineering.

Location: Corby

Salary: �28,000 to �30,000 per annum
