We're on a mission to redefine bar service with our unique fully automated dispensing technology, capable of serving two drinks in under 30 seconds, spanning a comprehensive drinks menu from beers, ciders, and spirits & mixers to wine and cocktails.For events & venues grappling with unprecedented cost increases and operational inefficiencies, the prolonged wait times for customers not only erode profits but also contribute to overall inefficiencies.Our overarching objective for customers is to revolutionise the traditional experience of waiting at lengthy bar queues, eliminating the inconvenience of missing out on the action and quality time with friends and family while getting a drink.We currently work with some of the best in live events and hospitality including Peppermint, Live Nation, Parklife, West Ham United, Dreamland Margate, London Stadium, Levy, The Warehouse Project, Luna Springs, Delaware North and many more. Job SummaryTechnical Events Manager - Full timeThis role is nationwide and you may be expected to travel internationally if needed. We will always try to deploy you geographically to where you live. The role itself consists of client liaison prior to events, setting up the equipment, being onsite during events, training & supporting venue staff and completing event reports post event. ResponsibilitiesProactive approach to understanding the event requirementsLiaise with clients prior to event to confirm detailsBeing on site to assist with delivery of machinesSet up machines for eventsTraining of venue staff on functionality of machinesMaintaining functionality of machines changing parts when requiredAssisting with customer serviceKeeping the Boxbar areas clean and tidy throughout the eventsRepresenting the company to the highest standards Breaking down of equipment post eventFull cleandown of Boxbar allocated areas Supporting with loading and unloading of equipment pre and post eventYou may be required to support other departments within the company when neededSupport in the warehouse to prepare machines before and after eventsHelp develop and improve training documents Complete event reports to help assist with meetings post event, where we can make improvements in the future and to build a database for repeat events.Liaising and feeding back to other departments such as marketing on events Scoping projects may be required ahead of timeTraining, liaising and booking contract staffAny associated calls and meetings ahead of eventsReporting to Boxbar management and clients post eventOrganise relevant accreditation for eventsFeeding into the overall programmes and calendars internallySupport in the continuation of sales/upselling and client successBehaviour and experience Hospitality background requiredLiaise with clients in a professional mannerStrong communication skills Good understanding of techUnderstanding of drinks dispense/cellar equipment would be a bonus Electrical knowledge would be a bonus Impeccable timing keeping Ability to work alone under pressure Ability to write detailed reports of event operationsWilling to travel Flexible working pattern, days, nights, weekend, bank holidaysPatience and attention to detail
