Technical Lead for Data & Reporting

Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Data & Reporting Technical Lead to deliver full implementation of a reporting and data project from initiation to deployment. This is a FTC until September 2025.Candidates applying for this role should have the following skills and experience:-Proven experience of systems development lifecycle including requirements capture, analysis, design, development, testing and user documentation.Certified and have relevant experience in SnowFlake, Azure, Azure Data Factory, Snowpipe and DBT.Solid understanding of IT project management and planning including milestones, critical paths and change management.Experience leading complex data modelling projects and engagements.Proven experience of working in agile teams using methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban. Proven experience of supporting junior developers.Proven experience in defining and implementing best practices and development standards.Proven experience in designing and developing data warehouses and data modelling. Proven experience of implementing and delivering data solutions and pipelines on cloud platforms such as Azure.Proven experience in API Integrations such as RESTful and GraphQL. Proven experience of developing and using continuous integration and development pipelines, with tools such as Azure DevOps, Teamcity or Jenkins.Proven experience of Data/Report Visualisation.Proven experience of Tableau and Power BI integration with a cloud warehouse.Proven experience with source control systems such as GIT. Advanced skills in SQL.Formal training in project management techniques and methodology, particularly PRINCE2 or APMP accreditation, is highly desirable.Excellent general IT skills, with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and must be highly competent in Microsoft Excel.Ability to rigorously prioritise, and work to strict deadlines. This includes the ability to adapt to changes in requirements, often with short notice or immediate turnaround times.
