Our client, an award-winning analytics company who value innovation, teamwork, and technical excellence are looking to hire a Technical Lead to join their team on a permanent basis in West Sussex.
What you’ll do:

\n
• Lead the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance software solutions.
\n
• Provide technical mentorship and leadership to a team of developers.
\n
• Contribute hands-on to backend (Java) and front-end (React/JavaScript) development.
\n
• Improve system scalability, resolve technical debt, and drive best coding practices.
\n
• Work closely with stakeholders to define technical direction and architecture.
\n
• Participate in Agile methodologies, including sprint planning, reviews, and CI/CD practices.
\n
• Collaborate with DevOps engineers to enhance cloud deployment and infrastructure.
\n

What You’ll bring:

\n
• Proven experience as a Technical Lead in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
\n
• 8+ years of hands-on development experience with Java (SE/EE) and microservices architecture.
\n
• Strong expertise in AWS services (e.g., EC2, VPCs, S3, CloudWatch, etc.).
\n
• Knowledge of front-end technologies including React and JavaScript.
\n
• Experience working with PostgreSQL and API design.
\n
• Exposure to Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies.
\n
• Familiarity with Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket).
\n
