From conferences to product launches, brand activations to festivals they work on a wide range of events. With a warehouse brimming with high tech AV equipment, lighting and staging they are now looking for Technical Manager to join their busy team!The RoleThe Technical Manager is the technical specialist and will support both the warehouse team as well as the freelance crew and Project Management team. Keeping abreast of new technology and equipment in the industry and researching / speccing this for purchase will be a large focus. You will also oversee the prepping and testing of equipment by the warehouse team and ensure that the rental equipment is kept in order and updated to current standards. Working closely with the Operations Director this is broad role where no two days will be the same!About youTechnical experience in working with audio visual equipment for live events and corporate events is a must have within a rental company or production house. This is mainly a warehouse based role with some on-site travel to events if required. Experience in wider areas such as procurement of kit, cost saving for the business and keeping the rental fleet up to date and compliant would be an added advantage.
