We are absolutely thrilled to be working alongside our Award Winning Construction Manufacturing client as we look to recruit for an experienced Technical Manager within Fire Protection & Construction Manufacturing, to join their UK wide team. This roles is a business critical and we are looking to get you started in your new role ASAP.

With a strong Team network across the UK and Ireland, your team of Technical Service Engineers work closely together to ensure exceptional customer service and customer support are delivered to their Global client base.

To be successful in your new role as our Technical Manager, you will have experience in passive fire protection, specifically focused on cavity barriers within building facades. As our Technical Manager , you will be responsible for responding to technical enquires from both internal and external stakeholders regarding the design, installation and performance of our passive fire protection systems.

Your Key Responsibilities

Provide Timely and accurate technical support to internal teams and external stakeholders on passive fire protection cavity barriers and firestops with a primary focus on building

envelope.

Collaborate with project management teams to address technical queries and provide solutions aligned to the project requirements and product specification.

Analysis of technical specifications, drawings, project plans to advise on best product selection, standards and regulations.

Record technical enquires and responses in our in-house CRM system.

Stay current with industry standards and regulations related to passive fire protection of the building envelope and integrate this knowledge into technical support activities.

Undertake complex product enquiries to a level of EE/EJ

Professional Capabilities & Qualifications

Experience in a technical, construction or building service role, preferably passive fire protection.

Experience in technical writing, including the creation of technical reports.

Experience in working in the construction and building envelopes industry

Degree in a construction industry or similar.

Your Knowledge and Skills

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to convey technical information to diverse audiences.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
